Renée is a freelance photographer focusing on cityscapes and portraits. She specializes in fine art renditions combining painting and photography. As co-owner of Skiba Photography LLC and Skiba Fine Art with husband and partner Peter. Their memberships include the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), the Coalition of Photographic Arts (COPA), Walker's Point Center for the Arts (WPCA) and The Center for Fine Arts and the Photographic Society of America (PSA).

Training includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree & a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwuakee and training in the Digital Arts & Media Program at Milwaukee Area Technical College. She has had further specialized training in the art of transforming traditional photos into fine works of art to resemble fine oil and chalk paintings.

As a photographer and a painter she enjoys finding patterns in nature and architecture.  Through her paintings and photos, she strives to preserve scenes that denote peace and tranquility.  She refers to her image style as Expressive Realism. Emulating the rich natural media experience via the Digital Media is what she tries to achieve in her paintings. She considers her works to be impressionistic with an emphasis on color, texture & design.

Peter enjoys working with people while shooting architecture, street scenes and portraits. He also enjoys journalism and editorial assignments. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Photography from Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). Peter continues his educational pursuits with coursework in Photography and Visual Communications at MATC and Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD).

Their works have been recognized in the Exposure 2007 competition and appeared in the Coalition of Photographic Arts Gallery Night and Day Exhibits in 2007 and 2008.  Works have also been displayed at the headquarters of the Photographic Society of America, the Reuss Federal Plaza and the Art Bar in Milwaukee, WI.
